Bosco Hockey 2020 AGM and Planning Meeting

Given that attendance at AGM’s over the past few seasons has been low, I have decided that this year’s meeting will be conducted electronically via phone conference. You can call in from your own home and participate in the event without having to set aside time to drive to a venue and be there for a meeting, organise baby-sitters, etc.

Bosco Hockey Club AGM

Thursday 23 January 2020, 7:30pm

Call: 1800 556 264

Participant PIN: 422443

The Agenda for this meeting will be:

  1. Election of 2020 Officers
  2. Discussion of 2020 season including which competitions the senior teams will participate in and management of junior teams.
  3. Planning of Club functions and fundraisers.
  4. General business.

The Officers positions that are most important to fill in 2020 are:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Registrar
  • Junior Convenor
  • Website and Communications

If you are interested in nominating for any of these positions, please reply to this e-mail ahead of the AGM. Alternately, if no nominations are received, we will seek to fill the positions at the AGM. Junior Convenor is a particularly important position this season as neither Melissa or I will be involved with junior teams in 2020.

Sydney South Outdoor Hockey Representative Program 2020

The Association has released information relating to the 2020 Outdoor Representative program. Nominations are open and will remain open until early February.

Players and officials are able to nominate via the Events page on the Association Website.

For a successful program, the Association requires

  • Coaches, Managers, Selectors for each age group,
  • Selection Process Convenors for each age group and
  • Umpires.

The position of Representative Director for the Association remains unfilled (as do all positions other than Treasurer following the AGM). If anyone is interested in taking on this or any other position for the representative program, please contact Lyn Smith at president@sydneysouthhockey.com.au.
