Good evening everyone,
This weekend sees our Senior teams take the field for Round 1 of their Competitions. Good luck to our SEHA 2 team and our Moorebank Clydesdales team.
Following the raining out of the Under 9 game, our Under 11 team chalked up their first win of the year last week with a tough 2-0 win over Cronulla RSL. The Under 13 team also had a good win, playing some exceptional team hockey to beat Cronulla RSL 3-1 after being down 0-1 early in the game.
Junior Games This Weekend
Under 9’s v Saw Sharks at 10am
Under 11’s v BYE
Under 13’s v Tartans Titans at 11:15am
Senior Games This Weekend
Clydesdales v Revesby at Moorebank at 1:30pm Saturday
SEHA2 v Pohogs2 at Kyeemagh at 4pm Sunday
There will be uniform items (socks and shirts) available at both games. Invoices will be sent for items purchased in the next couple of weeks.
Representative Hockey
The Sydney South Representative Hockey program is moving along, with the second weekend of Under 15 trials this weekend.
Under 11 and Under 13 trials are set down for Sunday 28th April and Sunday 5th of May. Applications to participate are on the Sydney South website – https://www.sydneysouthhockey.com.au/reps/
School and Association Rep Players
Congratulations to Annie Flack who was selected in the Sydney East Secondary Schools team for 2019. This is a great achievement by Annie, who is only in Year 7. Annie is part of the Hockey program at Endeavour Sports High School, a program that also contains Taylor Leonard from our SEHA 2 team. Well done Annie.
